Two Arrested for Setting Bike on Fire in Sullia

Sullia Police have arrested two persons in connection with a case involving a motorcycle being set on fire at a garage in Ambetadka of Sullia Kasaba village.
The incident took place on the night of August 26, 2026, when unidentified persons allegedly set fire to a motorcycle parked inside a garage at Ambetadka. A case was registered at the Sullia Police Station under under Section 326(g) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, and an investigation was initiated.
During the investigation, police arrested Dayananda (30), a resident of Ivarnadu in Sullia, and Darshan Raju (23), a resident of Kasaba in Sullia.
The arrested persons were produced before the jurisdictional court. The court remanded them to judicial custody, police said.
